At The Smile Club Dentistry & Orthodontics, we love working with new and returning patients alike. We offer comprehensive dentistry and orthodontics for children and adults. Read on to learn a bit more about our services!
Our practice offers both traditional metal braces and Invisalign® clear aligners. Both treatment options are very efficient and effective, and the option that you or your child ultimately pursues will be based on your specific needs and preferences.
Traditional braces are made of sleek metal brackets and wires that are adhered to the front of the teeth for the duration of treatment. They need to be meticulously brushed and flossed every day. Tools that make oral hygiene easier include interdental brushes, floss threaders, an orthodontic brushhead, and a water flosser.
Invisalign clear aligners are made of a comfortable plastic material and are more discreet than traditional braces. They must be worn at least 22 hours a day, but are removable when cleaning the teeth, eating, and drinking anything other than water.
Our team is dedicated to offering dentistry that is functional as well as esthetically pleasing! For example, if you want a quick and affordable way to enhance the appearance of your smile and overall appearance, we recommend our professional teeth whitening services. Additionally, our office can use porcelain veneers, Lumineers®, or dental crowns to protect and enhance the appearance of a single tooth or provide patients with a complete smile makeover.
Children’s Dental Care
We encourage you to cultivate positive oral health habits in your children from a young age. Begin brushing when they have at least one tooth and flossing when they have two teeth to show them the importance of taking care of their teeth and gums. Start bringing your child in for biannual dental visits around age one. Early dental visits can help reduce dental anxiety in children.
We recommend having dental sealants applied over your child’s molars and scheduling occasional fluoride treatments for them. These preventive services can reduce your child’s risk of developing cavities and are typically covered by dental insurance.
